How to polish deep blue mirror finish on pistol

Hey Guys,i ve polished a couple of gun to chrome,but now i feal in love with a special blue deep mirror llama in 1911 9mm ...dont laugh it s very nice but it has a couple of little not deep scratch .
I dont whant to lose the mirror blue effect on it so what do you suggest... I tryed by hand with car polish and aluminium creme on small space under the grip but seem like scrathing??

Any polishing you do on a blued gun will remove the bluing.Your gun was polished, then blued.

Best you can do unless you wish to redo the blue, is to use a soft oiled cloth, and try to only handle it with clean hands.

Not much you can do with the scratches. Clean it good and wax it with carnauba wax. It's a great protectant.

Gun oil on soft cloth or something with an agent?

I use Minwax paste wax...same thing as Johnson's Paste Wax but it's available everywhere, JPW isn't imported to Canada anymore. You could use car wax as well as long as it's just a wax, not a polishing compound.
