Sorry if this has been asked before !
How do I properly put these millet rings on ? I've never used this type before so it's all new to me. I've always used weaver style and just tighten the screw but these have a screw on each side so how do I know if the rings are lined up properly ?
I dont want to just tighten them up and possibly not be straight and bugger my scope.
Thanks !

So in plain english that would be....

Toss them away and then call Prophet River and get Tanner or Clay to tell you which Talley Rings you need for your rifle
Order said rings and install on your rifle and be happy happy happy

I would be putting these on a shotgun with 3/8 dovetail rail the same as a 22. Probly just get a dif set of rings but I need 30mm which these are

I know these rings have their detractors, but I have them on 4 firearms and I've not had any problem at all. They're called angle lok for reason. When I mount them on the rail, I leave one side free and tighten the other side until it stops. Then I tighten the free side until it stops. I mount my scope, bore sight it in, and then I can adjust the rings to bring to rough centre. Then I do a final tighten on all 4 screws. Feel is important, They are designed so that when you dog them down, the clips actually cant a bit and lock on the screw. The allen key that comes with them is designed so that if you overtighten, it'll strip the key rather than the screw head. I have a Torx bit that fits those screws and I bring that with me to the range. As I said, I've used them for many years now and never had them come loose or fail me when I needed them.
