Hey guys,

Installed a Troy MCS Chassis on a Norinco M305, and the rails aren't completely solid. They flex a little when gripping the rifle. I looked on how to tighten and fit the chassis but couldn't really find anything. Any first hand help is appreciated.

Thanks

i own one and have emailed troy about this. the flex is supposed to be there completely normal. just make sure you blue Loctite ever screw.

I have three Troy chassis and they all have sum flex. I hand squeeze The front together as I tighten the screws. Make sure your gas lock is tight.

The only one I've seen tight, (and there was still a bit of flex to the top rail) had a welded gas system. And because it was tight, the gas system leaked and was a culprit that caused the rifle to short stroke..... Well that and a shimmed gas system that covered about a third of the gas hole.....

I have since learned that Troy says not to unitize the gas system.
