How to remove fixed buttstock from mossberg 715

I just got a mossberg 715 the one with the carrying handle and it has a fixed butt stock. I didn't get a manual and they don't have one online for it. It has holes in the tube just like an collapsible one and it appears to function like a adjustable one but I can't get the pin up that is keeping it in place. Can some one tell me how to lift of the pin to adjust the butt stock also can I just buy the little price that you push on a regular adjustable stock and put it on this one instead of buying a new buttstock. Thanks

you can pry out the pin that is already there, I mangled mine a bit but its possible, the pin is even already spring loaded and has a hole in it (use a dentil pick if you have one, try to locate the hole and pull it out), I simply looped a small keyring through it and boom! adjustable.
 
Thanks, anyone else figure out something. It's so stupid. They could have just added the 2 dollar peice and all the stocks would be adjustable
 
Ya I could. Also there is a used buttstock for 25 on ee but I could save that money by just making it DIY. Any pics of people who did this mod. Thanks
