That was pretty cool, man are those teal ever fast!! I'm used to fat slow corn fed mallards,lol, have to step up my game with those little rockets

Isn’t enough meat on a teal to fill a taco...lol. At today’s ammo prices I give them a free pass. Of course I haven’t hunted water since landing on the prairies either. I like field shooting, no waders needed!

I've had to duck for a goose before. I still had one shell left, ducked as she brushed my cap and kept shooting. Were not sure who shot it me or my buddy.

Teal might be faster than a mallard but when you've been shooting decoying geese and the mallards come by, man what a difference in speed. Ducks can really be humbling. Geese are like a b52 bomber coming in with one engine out.
