I'm planning on printing out some targets and trying some longer range offhand shooting with my Stevens 300. Just wondering what size targets I'm suppose to setup at what ranges?

This is copied and pasted from steelchickens, under range standards.

RANGE STANDARDS
Distances
Matches are commonly fired at ranges of 40, 60, 77 and 100 meters or yards for Smallbore rifle Silhouette.

Alternate Range Distances -Where available range distances do not permit targets to be placed at their maximum specified distances, tournament sponsors must use targets scaled to proportional shorter distances.

COURSES OF FIRE
Smallbore Rifle Competition -A sanctioned match consists of 40, 60, 80 or 120 rounds fired in the standing position on one-fifth size standard High Power Rifle Silhouette targets as follows:

(a) Ten Gallina (chicken) targets at 40 meters (or yards).

(b) Ten Javelina (pig) targets at 60 meters (or yards).

(c) Ten Guajalote (turkey) targets at 77 meters (or yards).

(d) Ten Borrego (ram) targets at 100 meters (or yards).

Good to know, I'd been wondering about the distances were myself. Wanting to set up some for BPCR practice with a .22 liner.

Here you go (this is for pistol combat training only), hope it helps. Please click on link for printable copy

Thanks all! Now I have to find some kind of stands to set them up on my range. Luckily we do have a range with berms at 40, 60 and 100 yards so it should accommodate this pretty well.
