Hi I was wondering if someone could post how it dissasemble a 48al. The gun is jaming light load shells and i have tryed flipping the friction ring but it still does it  The gun has had very little use,but has been on a few trips in the woods. So I thought I would take it apart and try cleaning it. Any diagrams, pictures or suggestions would help. (never had a simi auto apart before  ) Thanks

I am not familiar with a "48al" but I do have some sites with manuals and exploded diagrams that may help, if I knew the make of the firearm.

If it's anything like the A-5, don't do it. Remove the fore end, barrel, springs/rings, and carefully release the bolt forward. Tilt the mag tube down, and spray brake cleaner through the lower loading port, hosing it out everywhere. Let the fluid drain out the receiver barrel opening. Try to get the spray tube everywhere inside. Lock the bolt back, spray again. Don't get any on the wood. Relube with something like BreakFree CLP, and try again. You may need more lube on the magazine tube as well, to reduce the friction rings' force.

Those are lovely upland guns.
