how to take down a Bayard .32

A friend has a Bayard .32, and we can't figure out how to take the slide off it. I notice that it has a base for the front site and the base seems to move very slightly when I push on it, but it hardly moves at all. I suspect it may have something to do with the takedown.

Anybody know how to take the .32 Bayard down??
