How to tell the age of my Winchester 94?

Just picked up a Win 94 on the weekend. is there anyway to find out the age of this firearm? by entering the serial number somewhere on the internet?

Just out of curiosity i ran the serials of the winnys i had. I got mine dated directly from Winchester Arms polishing room books. Google and ask for Bert. the site is one year too early...My 6 numbers date 1906-1910....the site dates 1905-1909. just a bit if info...but site is close.

I don't think it is working for my BB94, and using the numbers only on the serial I get a 1896 response. which I think is incorrect.

anywhere else to look for win 94 dates including Big bores?
