So, I have a flat top ar-15 with an eotech mounted on it, and I'm having trouble trying to sight it. I know there are these 25 meter sighting targets that you can get off the eotech website.. but it's so small, that it's pretty hard to see the silhouette at 25 meters. I mean, it tell me to aim at this little spot.. and adjust it until I see a bullet impact 1 inch below where I'm aiming at... how on earth would I be able to see that unless I'm wearing binoculars:confused:

I just really want to get my eotech sighted in so I can hit a 1 foot X 1 foot gong at 200 meters.

Does anyone have any better methods of sighting in?

I you want get an idea about bullet impact at various distances, go to the federal website, and download this program...It`s free, and really helps in understanding bullet drop when zeroed in at different points....

If you can't see the sight in target at 25m without magnification, how will you see the gong at 200m? This sounds more like an eye problem!

Other than that, zero it to a target of your liking at 50m and it should be close to point of aim at 200m.

Good luck!
