How was your SKS when you received it?

Can you post photos? I bet it's dried cosmo. Though, with the latest heap of sh|t out of Russia, I wouldn't be surprized. Russians are more than happy to unload them, or they would have shipped them to a smelter. I don't really need another SKS, but if I were to buy one now, I'd search EE for a specimen purchased 3 or 4 years ago from a reputable dealer. Better chance of a nicer SKS, and without a frankenpinned (welded plug) magazine.
 
Yes i'll try to post a picture tomorrow. I just got to clean it first. I went to the range yesterday and managed to do some nice grouping at 50 and 100 yards. I even put one bullet on the target at 200 yards. I really can't complain about the way the gun shoots. I'll post some picture of my target too.
 
Dents, dings, small chips... All normal with milsurp refurbished guns. Only thing that concerns me is no cracks in the stock.
