Something isn't right there for sure. My bolt actions have zero headspace and are tight, yet the Czech stuff goes in and out the easiest. If I could look at it I'd figure it out, so perhaps a trip to a smith is in order. Mini 30's should handle the Czech stuff with ease.Yes it cycles brass cases with ease, but when I put anything with a laquer on it like surplus cheq stuff, it get's really tight and won't extract every once in a while, then when it does extract, it won't fully go into battery on the next round, this happens about 15% of the time I shoot now, when I look at the chamber it looks like wax is being shaved off the casing. with brass I can load the rifle and perform a chamber check, with a steel case NON lacquered I can load and perform a chamber check, when I use surplus, it just isn't the same, it's so damn tight I hurt my hand opening the action and if I don't pull to far and fling the round, when I close it I have to push the charging handle forward with all my might. I would shoot brass case if it were cheaper and unfortunately there was very little non lacquered steel case available and it's gone
