HOWA 1500 Supreme NOW WITH BIG PICS :D

Hey guys,

I am taking one of these on trade and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them? If it is a good rifle I may keep it for some target shooting/yote hunting.

Reviews of it say that it can get under .5 moa but I wanted to hear from my fellow nutters.

If this thing shoots half as good as it looks I'm in for some fun

I have a M1500 in Ruger 204 that is a fantastic rilfe. I bought the barreled action and put it in a Boyds target/varmint stock with burris fullfield on top and it is a shooter. Under 1MOA, I still send that stinking flyer down range, also trigger on mine is very crisp and clean. In the hands of a seasoned shooter it would do better.

im onto my 3rd Howa1500 .. all have been the target varmint versions though, heavy barrel with boyds laminate stock ..

so i cant comment how the axxion stock will do with a light barrel..

but all of my Howa's have been exceptional shooters for factory rifles.. 1/4 moa at 100m all of them .. im a sloppy long range shooter so im not going to comment on the accuracy over 400m

That's not an actual Pic of the rifle btw the actual one has the same stock but a stainless heavy barrel in .223

If it that ridiculously accurate, i might have to add long range shooting to my long list of hobbies

in my experience, and experience of friends.. the Howa 1500 is an exceptional rifle.

only reason i havent bought a savage or remington is because i know first hand that the howa works

The weatherby vanguard (rebadged Howa 1500) is very reliable and accurate as well. Love mine.

I've had .223 .243 and .308 .. all were great, plus i had a Weatherby Vanguard with heavy barrel , but i didnt like the stock so it left

This is pretty ironic. Just yesterday I was flipping threw a old predator hunting magazine I bought last year. Looking in the table of contents there was a picture of a rifle I thought looked nice and it said pg44. I flip there and it all came back. like a 5 page article of a guy out coyote hunting with the HOWA in .223/ I had completely forgotten about that rifle.

Anyway, The guy in the article loved the gun. Accurate and durable he says.

I think quite highly of the Howa 1500/Vanguard but man, is that one ugly rifle! I just can't warm up to that no matter how it shoots.
