Can anyone tell me the max overall loaded length of 223 that will feed from the mag?
I'm thinking of using a howa action for my next 223 instead of the savage target
I plan to use heavier bullets

It should be the same as a vanguard which has a 2.260 mag box. The spacer is separate and can be easily removed and replaced with a home spacer and the bolt stop modified. Given a few minutes of playing your mag box will be whatever you want it to be.
