Now, that looks good. This is the point of this cartridge; shooting light bullets is what the .22-250 is for.

All of my rifles over the years have consistently shot Sierra bullets better than Hornady. Try giving some of theirs a try, you should be able to tighten up your groups a bit more.

How was the fit ?

Easy as pie, drop in and toq'd it to 50 inch lbs (which I didn't dare trying with the OEM plastic)

I shoot plenty of Sierra bullets in a number of calibers these days. TVK, TMK, TGK all great

My history with Sierra goes back over 50 years; tried lots of other stuff, but I keep going back. The only thing that Sierra did that I am not happy about was that they discontinued their 6.5 mm, 85 gr JHP. I loved it for groundhogs out past 300 out of my 6.5 x 55 se. Muzzle velocity over 3500. I have bought enough to get me to the end of my shooting life, so I'm OK. Were they available, I think they would have really shone in the 6.5 ManBun rifles.

I recently picked up the heavy barrels one. Where did you find the bottom metal? I’ve been looking. Mine loved the factory 88gr ELM . Waiting for some for reloading :)

It's purchased in the states from Jefferson outdoors. Looks like they have no stock at this time. I guess they sell pretty quick when they have stock. You can add your name to a waiting list if interested.
