Howa mini action chassis rifle

been eyeballing one in 6.5 grendel.

I have a full-size chassis, so not specific to the mini, but it’s very well made and very accurate, sub moa with match ammo. My experience with it has really turned me onto the howa rifles.

I'm partial to the 6.5 because I met Bill Alexander in Texas and had the opportunity to work his target when he was testing the round in 2003. He was reaching out to 1000 yards out of a 14" barrel ar.

Were you able to use the OEM Howa mag that came with the rifle? Or does the MDT chassis only accept proprietary mags?

I have a howa mini action in 65 grendel with the standard plastic green stock, 20 inch heavy barrel. it shoots .7 - .8 moa with 123 gr hornady bullets. this rifle is a keeper!
