Scrounge up some bottom metals?

Legacy told me that “Sr Management has put proprietary hinged floor plate bottom metals for the mini on hold indefinitely.”

Would be nice to put a bit of pressure on them to get it done.

Jeffersons are backordered for god knows how long.

Yeah, I want a hinge on my mini as well. If someone other than Jefferson could whip up a quality one, they'd be able to sell a fair number I think
 
Oregunsmithing also makes hinged bottom for the mini, or at least they did. No idea if they’re back ordered or not, I have always just used Jefferson ones. Chris will put you on a wait list and notify you when he has them coming up for sale.
 
Yes it would be nice of Legacy Outdoors actually listened to the Howa mini action owners and did a factory rifle with hinged bottom metal. Or flush fit magazines like they have on the Howa Superlite rifles. But they don't.

I have a couple different howa mini actions in 6.5G. One with the Jefferson hinged bottom metal and one with the Oregunsmithing bottom metal. The Jefferson one feeds much better! Their derlin magazine insert just seems to work. Took me hours of tweeking the Oregunsmithing metal magazine insert feed lips for it to feed 95% of the time.

If you want a hinged bottom metal my recommendation is to just order the Jefferson outdoors one.

Maybe Prophet river could look into distributing Jefferson in Canada?

I wud have done so already but as I say above, they are backordered forever.

Cant even backorder them. Just got get lucky when they have somw in stock.

Unless PR cud distribute them. Thats what i am hoping.
