i guess this is as good a place as any to place this. just got the howa mini in 7.62x39 in the oryx chassis and i gotta say im a huge fan. had it out just for a short break in session today with cheep norc steel case laquered ammo and she never skipped a beat, no miss fires no ftf or fte probs at all. cheep to shoot and resonably accurate with millsurp it looks like. would be an excellent first choice for a kid to get started on. the only thing i dont like is the mag. feels very cheep and flimsy, but functioned fine.

so happy i just oredered another in 223

I have a Howa 1500 mini in .223 Rem. It is currently sitting in a Boyds thumbhole varmint stock which is a first for me. I still trying to developed a load for this rifle that is consistently sub moa. I'm close but not quite there yet. Nice trigger but the factory should have spent just a little more time polishing the bolt.

mine is prity good. im thinkin ill get 1-2 moa with CZ surplus and thats plenty good for plinking

I have a Howa mini action in 6.5 Grendel and I love it. Definitely the best discount rifle I have handled or owned yet. I do agree the magazines could’ve been built a little better. My next one will be in 7.62 x 39.
