I have the cz 527 in 7.62x39
It shoots lights out with bulk Barnaul ammo, even better with handloads
Anyone who says it’s a crap caliber don’t know what they are talking about

CZ 527 7.62x39 carbine was designed to shoot steel cases ammo. It is very accurate at <200m. The big problem imI have encountered is that it doesn’t like my reloads with brass cased ammo. I had lots of light strikes to the primer. I am assuming that problem is from the resizing specs.

I'm having similar problem. My 527 has zero issue with steel case and S&B brass case ammo, but lots of light strikes with my PMC factory ammo and reloads. My guess for now is there is something wrong with primer pocket for this batch of PMC 7.62x39 ammo.
