Our Canadian borders will allow us to bring in 500rnds. US law forbids us from buying it. I could walk into Cabelas and buy 500rnds of ammo anytime I want without being asked for ID. The only thing that I would be risking, is if I were pulled over by a trooper that may know the law or a US border patrol that frequently does inspections on cars returning to Canada.

The worst part of it is that the export law was implemented post 9-11 and does nothing to make either of our countries anymore secure.

I'm surprised to hear that anything is cheaper up here. As I dream shop in the US online all the time and see $150-200 savings on almost everything.

No one mentioned our 8.5" shotguns being completely non-restricted, thats the law where I find most Americans are like WTF?

I also am interested in comparing prices (Not that any actual purchases can be made). I'm not the only one who has seen crazy high prices on gunbroker (You guys love Winchester Levers!) but, I also wished our borders were more open having visited the odd pawn shop or, Florida flea market...

Hi there , I haul heavy equip in and out of your country and love it! I haul mainly from John Deere in Davenport Iowa and think the folks there are very nice people. I have made friends at two of the local gun shops there and it seems that there are no borders regarding firearm owners. This is a great place to keep in touch and keep up with what is happening in our great country. We just have a few backward thinkers in power!!!! ha I colect S&W's and am a member of the S&W Collectors assoc. Great group and great guns! Again WELCOME!!!!

Hi from a fellow newby and serviceman.
I didn't get to that sandbox but a lot of fellow dirt chewers did.
I shoot long range and reload plus have lots of interest in toys we may have played with while eating MRE's and bathing with wet wipes lol.

i shall be lucky enough to have that right as well in 2 years as i will be dual citizen :)

and i currently will be getting my CCW for washington state.
