Just wanted to do a quick hello, just found these forums today, what a great site!
I have been out of the loop for a few years with the happenings in the gun world, and just this year the fire has been rekindled
I used to shoot almost every weekend, until they tore down my beloved Barnett range (
mad:*t**ds!) It was normal for me to go through maybe 12-1300 rounds a day at my high point (rifle & handgun).
I do like to hand load as well, kind of need to when you start flinging that much lead up range on a regular basis
I have a buddy at work that has gotten my fire stoked once more, and I have even started thinking it is time for a new rifle (any time is a good time for a new gun) just need to decide whether it is going to be a .450Marlin, or a 45-70 XLRSS, but that is a thread for a different forum. Feels great to be back, and have the shooting bug once again.
