A few of ya'll might know me from bc4x4, one of the old timers over there. I've been meaning to join for quite some time, just never got around to it until now.

I own several rifles and .22s (mostly hunting), a few 12 ga shotties, and a few handguns thrown in to mix it up a little.

Safe shootin'. LR

Yeah, I've noticed there's a few of us around here eh?

I mostly target shoot, have a membership at the Nicola Valley range in Merritt and since I'm back down at the coast I'm looking for a membership here (contemplating between Abby, Langley, and Mission). Looking for best price and the most to offer for that price which leans towards Mission, but I don't care for their mandatory volunteer time or pay for not volunteering. I agree with members helping but holding them ransom for that isn't cool in my books.

I have 12 rifles (four .22s, two .303 Lee Enfield MK 4s, two .30-06s, .45-75 lever, and three 12 ga shotguns), 3 or 4 air rifles (.177), and 3 handguns (SIG 226 9mm, Walther P1 9mm, and Kimber Stainless II .45).

When out hunting I usually drag along my Remington 700 .30-06 with a Leupold VX-II scope, and in the spring time I'll probably be in the market for a new varmint gun, most likely a .22-250. LR

Welcome to another BC'er. I :)forgive you for being down at the coast. Just don't make a habit of it. The central part of the province offers so much more.

Welcome to the site!

I'm in the valley as well, more guns here than the rest of Canada!! ;)

hahaha Yup. For the last 7 years I've been running long haul for a couple of companies and for the last 5 years of it has been with Glenncoe hauling for Walmart and Home Depot, so yes I can say I have gotten to know BC and AB pretty intimately for someone my age. Home started in Mission, then to Abby in '86 and I have since lived in Oliver, Kelowna, and Merritt. Basically, most of my family is down here and since I'm forever on the highway I have a room in my dad's basement (which is basically a boarding house anyways for students, pretty bad I still live at home at 27 eh? haha We both camp, hunt and shoot and get along very well so I have no complaints, plus its free storage for my quad and belongings). I have friends and family scattered across BC and the YK which I visit and hunt with frequently so having this job is a great plus for me, and yup it does help being single since I'm gone so much.

But once again, thank you for the warm welcome *insert humble bow here* Cheers. LR
