Love the heavy weight of it - it's just a range gun, after all. Kicks WAY less than my Savage FP110 (heavy barrel) in 7mmRM. Love the adjustable LOP, I'm on the tall side and like a longer LOP than most rifles offer. Cheekpiece is great, adjustments are quick and stable.

I estimate the trigger to be 2 lbs, very very crisp and pleasant to pull. Wide shoe, nothing distracting in the pull at all.

The scope is amazing, crystal clear at 100. Have the NRR1 reticle and love how thin the reticle lines are compared to the Elite 4200's I'm used to. Can't wait to get it out to 5-700.

50 rounds down, very easy to clean. Almost no copper in there at all, at least multiple patches of CR10 came out with very little blue, this was after using multiple patches of M7Pro on the carbon. Did use some Gun Juice in it during the first 10 shots, dunno what the net effect of that is conclusively. Patches feel very smooth going down the barrel, much more so than any gun I have cleaned to this point in my brief shooting experience.

Doing load development with 168 SMK's and Varget, Lapua virgin brass + CCI BR2 primers. 43.8-44gr (top left and middle-right and lower-right, all groups 5 shots) works fine. Haven't been over the chrony or played with seating depth yet, these rounds were all 2.80". Comparitor says OAL to lands is 2.877"-ish, tho of course I am actually measuring rounds off the ogive. Test target from factory with match ammo is tighter than any group here, so I have some work left to do.

I have a HTR as well and the thing outshoots me by a long shot. The detachable mag system is very reliable and H-S' 10x match grade cut rifle barrels have and outstanding reputation. The fact that the US Marines used them on their rifles is no fluke. The test target that came with my rifle has Federal Match 168gr BTHP as the round used for testing. I don't reload and the only rounds fired from my rifle is the same, Federal 168 gr BTHP. I have had outstanding results from that particular round and see no reason to change as I said I don't reload.
