i know that the hs-precision is compatible with remington bottom metal,

but im looking for a dbm kit

i am looking at the legacy sports dbm kit but im not sure it will fit the hs-precision.

any ideas of a good dbm kit for the hs?

The legacy should drop in without modifying anything. It uses a proprietary mags.

I've had good luck with the magpul dbm kit but that requires modification to both the stock and bottom metal. But it looked good and ran aics mags perfectly in both .308 and .223.

You might also want to look at pacific tool and gauge.

Take a look at Atlasworxs, they make a variety of DBM for different firearm manufacturers.

If you email them, they'll send you a footprint for the DBM and you can check sizing and see how much, or if, you'll need to modify the stock.

A positive selling feature for Atlasworxs is that they're in Australia, and the AUD to CAD conversion works in our favour - unlike USD to CAD.

Nope. Dropped right in. Also use Wyatt's. Wyatt's are steel and drop right in as well. Plenty O Patches in Raymond Alberta usually have some Wyatt's in stock.

I have some Legacy dbm's in Remington's as well as Howas. Surprisingly durable for polymer. A little less $$ than Wyatt's.

I have the HS Precision DBM kit on my HS Precision stock. No inletting just bolt right in. Not cheap but as simple as you can get and great quality.
