This is the kind of rifle I have always wanted. But everything I've seen says it should be 1900$. This store is charging 4999$? Why would they think they can charge that? Go to island outfitters' website and check it out in their Online Shop section

Epps has one in .308 but not near $1900 ($3369.50)....the review is probably the US price, which gets jacked up in canada due to import fees and shipping costs.

Providing you jump through all of the hoops and get around all of the red tape you could go to the states and buy one, and bring it back with you, I was talking to my local customs officer here who used to work at the Sarnia border and he used to deal with people importing firearms all the time.

Well I have one of these rifles in 6.5-284 it is the most accurate rifle I have ever owned mine had a list price of 4300.00 but the guy sold it to me for 3800.00 so I dont think you could find one for 1900.00 anywhere.

X2 what tranman said for import and shipping fees. Also the rifle you're refering to comes with a $1100 scope on it.
