OK, here is my pre-range impression... I just installed one for my 1937 Tula Mosin. The quality is impressive, but have no tools to measure the pull. As far as I can judge - yes, they do work as advertised. Will tell you more once I reach range...

Bought one for my lithgow, it's the same if you order one for the #4, they are interchangeable, haven't used it yet. . .
