A pic of Bart Lancaster with a simply enormous Dall ram. This thing has to be very high in the record book.

This was posted on Accurate Reloading; no details on this sheep yet. If you have info' let us hear it!

There's something wrong with that picture, it just doesn't look right:confused:. The two guys head aren't even close to be the same size. Something has been photoshoppd here.

just the way it is taken, cameraman at an angle, the guy holding the horns is holding hisarms out as far as they go so the animal is way closer to the camera then he is, and the guy in the back isbehind him and at an extreme angle.

just like the american hunting magazines are advising for picture taking.... plus look at the slope they are on.

The Ram was taken in the Kluane Yukon on a non-resident guided hunt that Bart Lancaster paid 170,000 for. The Ram went 186 with 44" horns it was a few inches shy of a world record.

Wrong and wrong. The animal was measured just a few inches shy of the world record. This thread must be a land speed record in terms of the speed that the naysayers and photo commenters arrived. :D

Good for the guys if it's true. It might be the angle or the lighting but it just looks a little off to me.

that is a very big sheep, look at how the curl drops below the jaw and makes more than a full curl. i am no expert but i would think it is 44" or so.

it is standard photo tricks to have guys behind an animal, i have some photos of myself with fish at arms length and they look much bigger than they are. they also have the head tilted slightly back which also makes it look bigger.

I got no time for the wannabe's that seem to always jump into threads like this and immediately begin Nay-Saying bull#### about how the animal was posed or Photo-Shop BS.

How can anybody look at that pic and not immediately recognize that the animal is way high record book?

well, let's see a B&C scoresheet.

it is a very big ram, but the scale is all messed up by the way the photo was taken (accidentally or not). for example, the guy on the left must be a pinhead as the bases look bigger than his head.

you would think that a guy with that kinda cash could afford to buy a head that fits his body..........lol:D:D

That picture sure looks off somehow. But I hope it's real. Man, that would be some ram.
