Hey,

To anyone who may not have seen it yet, below is a link to my youtube channel that showcases all my deactivated guns. Hope you guys enjoy!

I love that DP! you need to do a video on it! such a cool gun. if you collect only De-acts. you should look for a walther PPK with the Nazi grips. that would be a fantastic gun to have and one we cant legally own unless deact.

the MG you said was a Yugo gun? is it 7.62 or 8mm?

I told my self I would never own a dewat, but as my collection grows there are some holes due to the prohibited nature of so said firearms. The prices are just to crazy for me justify buying any 3000 for a Thompson!, 4000 for an mp40! (EE prices) That's absurd for deactivated firearm. I see the value as anyone can buy them and that's huge advantage but I'd rather save my $$$ for an original non neutered piece of history. Nothing against those collect them just my personal opinion that they shouldn't command the high prices some people ask.

I have a perfect example of this to show off later.

Told myself when I first got involved in milsurps that I wanted to focus on Canadian or at least Commonwealth firearms and gear. Well, for a WWII collection of firearms that meant I was pretty limited, and I really didn't have a lot of interest in handguns. I love MGs and SMGs. So that pretty well decided it for me. The only way I could have a Bren or Sten was Deact. I held it off for a long time waiting for the right ones to show up and I also was worried I wouldn't enjoy guns I couldn't shoot. I bought a Ross M-10 sporter almost 3 years ago and have never shot it, but I love having it here. That sealed the deal, and now after almost four years of waiting I finally got my Canadian Bren and Sten yesterday!
