No. The "difficult" part is fitting the original piston cover so everything stays out of the way of one another. Its not even difficult, its just time consuming depending on if you have a grinder or not.
 
Nice groups. My CZ 858 shoots better 100yd groups than my M305. Here I am buying M305 spring guide rods that prevent kinks, "accurizing" the rifle and the cz is kinked the crap out of its spring and yet it groups better. VZ 58 platform is under rated.

Mine crapped out just after 1 year of very little use. I contacted CTCS but they wouldnt help me because the 1 year warranty had expired. I have 3 other primary arms scopes but I wouldnt buy one of the prism ones again.
