Does anyone know if Hummasons in Ancaster carries bullets, powder and primers for pistol reloading? I usually deal with Lawrys but oftern they don't have what I'm looking for. TC

Last time I was there they had very limited supplies..........

Lawrys had much more stock. If they were out you are likely to be disappointed at Hummasons.

Why not call ahead?

Hummasons

I always call ahead and have never had a problem.

I only buy powder and primers, they really don't have much in the way of relaoding bullets

Hummason Mfg vs Lawry Shooting Sports

Both stock primers and powder. Both stock DRG lead pistol bullets. I've found Lawry usually has a better selection of primers ( but no one has Federal small pistol primers at this time) but Hummason has a greater variety of DRG bullets ( I believe they are cast right there at Hummason, according to the counter person).

As for prices, it pays to call both of them first and check. Just lately I bought 8 lbs of Bullseye and it was originally cheaper at Lawry by $20 but Hummason adjusted their price when I whined about it.

Lawry is usually a couple bucks cheaper per thousand on their primers.

Bullet prices were very similar but with the climbing price of lead who knows where its going to be in 6 months. Shot shells per flat of 250 were $44 at Hummason until their existing stock runs out and then its going to $47 or $48.
