My friend complained that he couldn't hit anything with his Hastings-barreled Browning A5. This morning, I took it out to the range to verify his claim. This barrel is new to him and sports rifle sights.
After firing a couple of shots at 25 yds. I realized that the windage was spot-on but the POI was WAY too high, to the toon of about a foot. I adjusted the elevation (rear sight) all the way to it's maximun point but it's still shooting about 8" high at 100 yds.
Does anyone have any advice on what to do? Shells used were Winchester 2 3/4" Sabots. Thanks in advance.
