Hungarian M35, G98/40 and 43m

Meh, hard but not impossible. Saw some at auction here in Canada in the last year or two, a 35 and 43 IIRC, and thought there was either a 35 or 43 in the EE in the last 6 months or so. They show up, just not alot.

Hard to find. There was a 35M on the EE awhile back and a 43M got sold a few years ago by Wolverine, but I've been looking for years without being able to get my hands on them. They come up pretty regularly on Gunbroker if you're willing to import one, but they tend to sell in the $800 - $1000 range - add on the $200- to import it, and with the dollar what it is these days, its a less attractive proposition!

Still looking for M35 and G98/40...

Beautiful rifle. I had heard they have a: 'dark' side to them. Supposedly the G98/40 rifles were often used to equip Einsatzgruppen units. Not sure how much of this is folklore & hyperbole and how much is reality.

That is a rugged bayonet. Almost looks like you could chuck the empty rifle & bayonet like a spear Cold Harbour style!
