For the 2nd time, I am point man for organizing an M14 with "Hungry" aka "Tactical Teacher" aka Barney. The event will be held in the main clubhouse of EESA just outside of Aylmer ON on November 9, 2013 from 8:30 - 16:00. The registration fee is $45. I have seen to it that the club kitchen will be open for people that wish to purchase a hot lunch.

It would be great if we had somebody that could bring a heavy bench and vice so we could do some barrel re-indexing or even complete re-barreling if people have the parts. There should be lots of gas system shim making going on, grinding of welds to get those pesky high school flash hiders off, pinning those op rod guides in nice and solid, and much, much more!

Contact "TacticalTeacher" here on CGN to register, spaces are limited so don't hesitate to get in on the action. If you don't come "your #### might fall off".

Barney, you can count me in as #1.

what is the difference between this one and the one in January as there is a $25 difference?

For those who have not taken one of Barneys' courses you are missing out on a great time.
I've taken his precision rifle course and I will be attending his Petawawa 2 day M14 clinic later this month.
If you have the time don't miss out on this.

JNA: The Bradford clinic is more expensive because we are working INSIDE Casey's Workshop, not everyday a gunsmith offers his entire facility to us for our needs. At the usual single day clinics, we are inside a classroom and pounding on the tables for the afternoon tweaking session. At Tacord dot com, Casey's facility, we will be using REAL workbenches with 2 vises EACH bench. AND we can re-index on his large vise in the shop. Besides, you have the awesomeness of having been in the presence of Casey. He's gonna forget more than I will ever KNOW! :D

There does that answer things?

Cheers,
Barney

Now, Now. Hungry tell the truth...
Beer prices have gone up again haven't they :p
All though's who attend this I do believe should bring a box of ammo to compensate you for the lack of golden goodness to relive the stress ;)

Good to know looking forward to the clinic :D.

Sorry was based on Barney's availability. As you can tell I'm not a deer hunter myself :(

Speaking of availability, stick around for next year. I'm worried that the M14 clinics might not be around a great deal. I just got tapped on the shoulder to be Match Director for Precision Rifle (ORA) for next season. A little birdie says that I might be up to my butt in aligators helping with the Service Rifle and CQB programs as well. :D

The M14 clinics might not happen too many times, I'm afraid. Attend them while I'm still doing them. I ain't gonna be around forever!

Cheers,
Barney

Is there any way you can make a DVD for guys that cant make it? As I understand this is a very hands on course but is it possible to put it on DVD? I would like to make it to one of these courses but im out in western Canada.

Wayyyyy too much information I am tossing at you for a single DVD. It's been attempted back in 2004. Too hard of a production and too long of a clinic. I don't have a media background and others who have tried it have failed. It's too hard to follow me around and do this , all the while learning what I'm delivering.

And if you are in Western Canada, I was in Cgy for 11 July, and then Peace River for 13-14 July, and then Dundurn , SK for 16-19 July. Ya musta missed my road trips.

Cheers,
Barney
