Hunt Group HS-12 law defence handguard question

Just bought one of those hs12 from tenda.

Is it normal to have to squeeze the handguard in by pulling the mag tube from the barrel a little ?
Is that why there is the little lip at the end of the magtube ?

The mag tube and the barrel don't seem to be parallel.

Looks normal to too. It's usually a very tight fit so when everything is together and snug there is no gaps, play or slack.

Looks fine to me, tighten her up and let us know how she handles at the range
