But not very Grizz-proof, if it's that time of year.

Looks great, all the comforts.

Some guys I know take one of those Costco units up, but only erect half or three quarters of it, depending upon the size of the group.

Similar idea.

Here's our camp. Doesn't change much year to year. This was 2004 and the first year for the brand new shiny outfitter tent. Replaced the same tent that had about had the biscuit. So many years of patching and it was time for a new one. Too many folks in camp means we've started partitioning off and tarping over a section outside for a kitchen. Used to have it inside but no room now with all the cots.

This was my Mulie hunting trip in November 2005. I went to bed with no snow:eek: But when I woke up in the AM it was a winter wonder land! The tent did well though and I was really glad to have a wood stove!

We use the same spot in the spring for bear minus the snow hopefully:)

Popcan there is a 14X14 heavy green army tent inside that 20ft long tarp building. We figure if it ever happens the kitchen end away from where we sleep will be the grizzly action area.Very warm and very watertight.RB

24'X24', built on the footprint of a sagging old barn. Constructed over six weekends by our eight members. Used all sorts of recycled/discarded/second-hand lumber and buiding materials.

Barnboard from the original barn used on the inside for cost savings and a rustic look. Furniture was picked-up from the curb, just slightly ahead of the
garbage truck...
