What ever happened to good ol bear defence threads,...is this them simply reincarnated?

There once was a time, not so long ago, when on any given Sunday someone would start a bear thread and the battles would begin...
Pump action with slugs, 45/70, Bird shot to the face,...

I suppose we have collectively moved on....

Hey, I have actually been swarmed by marmots!

Long story, but let's just say it involved one getting into my truck because the girlfriend at the time was eating a bag of chips. When those Hoary's start fighting at your feet (literally) they sound and act like little grizzlies.
 
The bears have become Politically Correct,they are trying to end the steriotype.That`s why they recruited the squirrels and marmots.Somebody has to attack the hikers.
 
they still happen, a forest worker got nibbled on by a grizzly near Mackenzie a few months ago. My Grandfather in law also got mauled to an inch of his life around there too. those bears are a-holes there!

You should start a "Mackenzie Bear Thread" and we can argue (discuss:D) the merits of various weapons (townie word for firearm) of choice..:)

Don't even get me started on Weasels! Had one in my cabin once, in the dark, chasing mice all over. When I heard him coming up the stairs I did the only manly thing I could think of:

I wrapped myself in my blanket like a burrito and started yelling (note I did NOT say screaming) "F^&K OFF you little BAS**ARD!" over and over.

I think I handled it well.

I wasn't aware liberals made good pets? The police told me I could no longer have my local liberal chained and tethered in the backyard. Surprisingly PETA had even forsaken one of their own, with no outcry.
