Hunter Misses Deer 3 Times - Video

Yeah,

Still funny!

Been around for a while. First time I saw it here, it was being used to poke some fun at Armedsask, IIRC.

Makes a good case for some sighting in before the hunting season starts.

IIRC someone posted that the guys kid fessed up to dropping the rifle at some point prior to getting settled in.

Dunno what the deer genetics are like in that area, but the ones where I have hunted sure as heck would not have stood out in the open and stared while I whanged away at them. :D

I didnt't watch the video because i'm on dial up. But soon as I read the title I thought of Hank Parker. Anyone seen that Hank Parker 3D show where he is deer hunting with a muzzleloader in Saskatchewan or Alberta??? He buys a used muzzleloader, sights it in, then goes hunting. Dumps the usual 300lbs of C'mere Deer then waits. Huge buck walks in and he ends up shooting at it 3 differnet times missing it by a mile each time. The deer would run off only to return to the bait pile about 5 minutes later. He figures the gun is shooting about 5 feet to the right by the dust clouds after he shoots....So he aims 5 feet to the left of the deer and pulls the trigger. He FINALLY hits the deer on the fourth shot ( not sure where :S )

He ends up getting the deer but doesnt say where he hit it or how many more shots he took at it or how long it took to find that wounded deer . I was in complete awe that this asshat actually put this gong show on the air. That was the worst hunting preformance I've ever seen on T.V. I know one thing, I'll never watch another Hank Parker show.

sorry for being off topic but I had to share

Nothing to be embarrassed by. All 3 shots went to the same spot so the guy's shooting was OK. A bumped or bad scope can happen to the best shooters on occasion.

Well...I was hunting with a buddy about 10 years ago that shot 3 times a the same deer...BUT we were using muzzleloaders!!! I went to look after the shooting was done and the deer that he missed 3 times was about 35 yards away. The poor thing probably has hearing damage and a lung infection from all of the smoke. I get a laugh out of that story every year.
