Hunter Safety Course?

Hello, I am currently living in Ancaster,ON where I am finishing up my university career. I am looking to take my hunter safety course this winter so I can participate in next fall's hunts. Is there anybody who teaches the course in the area. My only problem is I dont have a car, so it needs to be fairly close so I can convince somebody at school to give me a lift.

I have taken the course recently and I have some advice. Do all the reading and pay attention there is a lot to learn and you will be surprised of all the content. It is pleasing to know that if you take the course seriously you will learn tons and be quite prepared and safe good luck man and have fun !!!!
 
i believe there is a fish and game club or rod and gun club right around ancaster and i am pretty sure that is where you take it. check the website it will give you the phone numbers of the contacts in your area or call up the club and see if they have the contact numbers.

I do take it seriously,was also told from the instructor that we are the guinney pigs of this new course. Lucky us!
There is a hell of a lot of reading!

We passed!

70 questions, you get 12 wrong you failed. Read the questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got 6 wrong... but I knew the answers!!!!!
 
I didn't open a hunting book and got 3 wrong out of 70 questions. :) Our instructors were just that good.

^^ If you knew the answers to the ones you got wrong then why did you get it wrong?

Mommabear, I am glad your stepson passed with high marks, gives him more courage when he takes on other tasks.

You think that comment is disrespectful? It's an honest question. If I know the answer to the question, I get it right. I don't get it wrong. Maybe you knew the correct answer after you realized the answer you put down was wrong because I don't think anybody would choose a wrong answer knowing full well it's the wrong answer.

I don't really care if you wouldn't go hunting with me as I am a great person and your the one who would be missing out. We will probably never meet which is another good point.

Sorry you feel that way.

Now , see, this is how I got my questions wrong.... cause I didn't read the question / sentence properly.

What I am trying to tell the general CGN'ers who are going to take the course , was to read the question... ( it could fool you)

Yes I did misunderstand as 2 of my questions were from misreading also and assuimg the question was going to finish a certain way.
