one would wonder, what's worse?
A challenging situation to say the least.
I wonder how many bear hunters actually plan for, and train for, the possibility that a Hunt can quickly turn into a Fight.
Guy chooses not to bring rifle becUse wasnt planning on hunting.
Guy only brings one magazine.
Guy doesnt bring first aid kit.
The two guys probably didnt plan or rehearse their response plan if coming upon a grizzly.
People say you never know what you will do until faced with a situation, but studies show people tend to do what you /trained to do.
So for me, I dont wonder if its worse to get mauled by a bear or shot by a friend trying to save my life.
I wonder how I would plan a bear hunting trip differently so this doesnt happen at all.
How many hunters zero there rifles on a lifelike depiction of a bear where their hunting buddies picture is underneath the bear target.
Or practice defensive use of a long gun at short range.
How does the possibility of needing many rounds to put down a grizzley affect how much ammo I plan to carry.
Thats what I wonder about anyways.
