Hunting ammo for SKS

Would the federal soft point 7.62x39 123gr be plenty for a medium game hunting round?

This is the prerolled stuff. And it seems like wholesale is the only place that carries it.

What do you consider to be medium game? How well does it shoot out of your rifle? It'd be ok for varmints and small deer, up close.

Yeah, that ammo should be fine for deer and bear.

I used that exact ammo last deer season at about 100M and it dropped my white-tail in his tracks.

you can also pull the bullets on the surplus rounds, cant you?

"...pull the bullets on the surplus rounds..." It's not really worth the effort and you don't know what powder is in there. There's lots of hunting ammo available.
