Hunting and Site C

If you hunt along the Peace River valley and in particular that you use the Halfway River boat launch to go up the Halfway river for hunting, I suggest you read Vol 3 Sec. 26 of the Environmental Impact Statement for Site C, found here http://a100.gov.bc.ca/appsdata/epic/html/deploy/epic_project_doc_list_371_r_app.html

If (when) Site C approval gets steamrolled through, the closure of the Halfway boat launch will be very low on the list of troublesome hunting issues. They do plan to make two new public launches (both on the north side of the reservoir) - but there won't be much left to hunt between the flooding, roads, powerlines and other associated development

This is part of the problem, we aren't up in arms about this, and pretty soon it will be too late to complain about what was lost.

Boy, that's the extent of concern about Site C from hunters on this site?
