hello all I have just moved to the Guelph area. was wondering if any one know any good places to go or if there is any one looking for a hunting buddy. drop me a line. any help would be great, I am on budget as well not looking to spend big bucks yet. I am fully licensed.

Do what you can to meet local farmers. Tough though as I'm also in guelph and knocked on a number of doors (friends of friends) and couldn't get approvals. Eventually i did get permissions to a farm in rockwood that I share with one other guy and a farm in grey county that I have sole permission to and it's like Noah's arch there, deer, turkeys and geese everywhere. Found its worth my drive to get meat in the freezer. Galt sportsman club has a good shotgun range you can use as a guest. Even members there can take a year before getting a rifle range membership.

GRCA has about 20 properties scattered about Guelph/Cambridge area that for a small fee they allow you to hunt. I've not hunted any of them but I've considered doing it this year. At least there should be some spots to hunt some small game. See this link:

The other alternative (a bit of a drive for you though) is Hullett Marsh near Goderich. 5000 acres and you can hunt everything, deer/turkey/small game/waterfowl. I think Hullett is probably comparable to Luther Marsh though, and Luther is a lot closer to you (I've never been to Luther Marsh, Hullett is fabulous though).
