it was made in ontario...had name like ainfeld but i must have remembered it wrong
because i cant find the website...does anybody have any idea what i might be referring to?
thanks

never heard of it, but to be honest i buy all my hunting camo from the discount bins at walmart.

yes that is it i think....i think the guy didn't realize that it is made in China and imported to Canada....all i can find on the internet is at aliexpress ... so ok, then there is sitka that is made in Vietnam.

One thing I noticed right away is how loud the fabric is. If you crank the volume (video post #6) and ignore the sound of the zippers, whenever he puts his hands in any of the pockets or rubs them against the pant legs, it is terribly loud, like a ski jacket or snowmobile suit.

I bowhunt late season deer and that clothing material would be unacceptable. The cold air makes sound travel much farther than in warm air. You can get away with small movements but you can’t get away with unnatural sound.

Compare with actual Sitka, and the difference is night and day:

I can’t help with hunting specific clothing cause I use wool pants, shirts and sweater, flannel when warmer…. But one thing for sure is buy something you can actually try on! Something you can move around but see it the fit is good and if the noise isn’t over the top, especially with pants, pants legs that rub against each other can make quite the racket!

Agreed, I like their stuff a lot. Nice having a decent company in Canada producing top quality gear.
I have purchased Ash Brown Hard Scrabble Jacket, Pants and Long Sleeve zip shirts ... I wanted stuff for other than hunting and it's pretty nice, and I waited for the recent early Aug sale. I have Sitka Marsh Hudson stuff for birds and Sitka Open Country stuff for big game hunting, and some Kuiui for in-between sports needs.

Its all good! I always tried to purchase during sales but sometimes just needed it so made the plunge. I do find the Sitka stuff a tad more robust... where as the Skre Hard Scrabble is more for early season and/or lighter weight - but meets what I wanted.
