Hunting coyotes in Alberta

Hi, I am so newbie, hehe. I'm new in alberta and I would like to hunt coyote. Can I hunt it all year long? I have checked for a license but the system seem complicated Where can I hunt coyotes (near from edmonton)?

Get permission on private land and you can kill to your hearts content. Lots of dogs in the area, just find a landowner who wants them removed.

Access for Control of Livestock Predation
Black Bear and Coyote*
Any person who is (a) the owner or occupant of privately owned land, or (b) authorized to keep livestock on public land, or (c) a resident authorized by a person described in (a) or a resident authorized in writing by a person described in (b) may, without a licence, hunt (but not trap) black bear or coyote on such lands, at all times of the year.

and

Coyote
A Resident may, without a licence and on land to which he or she has the right of access, hunt (but not trap) coyote at all times of the year throughout the province, except as follows:
1) on public lands in the Green Area, only from October 1, 2008 to February 28, 2009, and
2) in Camp Wainwright (WMUs 728 and 730), only from January 5, 2009 to February 28, 2008.
