Hey guys, just got my hunters licence, but am not a newb to shooting guns.
Bought my migratory birds and small licence for this year. Going to be doing some duck and grouse hunting with seasoned hunters this fall but am really looking forward to hunting coyotes.
I've been doing some reading on hunting coyotes and am in the process of saving up for a 223 bolt action, my friend is going to show me the ropes this season.
My questions are,
are electronic calls allowed in quebec?
When is the best time of year to hunt coyotes, i/e after deer season, dead of winter etc, dawn, dusk?
How much are pelts selling for? I've been told around 25$
and what would you recommend as an entry level used bolt 223, I'm torn between a stevens 200 or remington 700.
I live in aylmer quebec, right across the river from ottawa.
