Hunting Dog Eye Protection?

I will be heading to Pelee Island next week for our annual Pheasant Hunt. My little Labrador always has around her eyes shredded by the end of the two days. I was thinking after watching to pro fighting matches that vasoline might work. Has anyone tried this or do you have a suggestion? It sucks to have her chewed up for a week or so after, but it is what she gets paid to do i.e. food and vet bills!
 
Try RexSpecs...not cheap but I've heard they work, if your dog will wear them, may be too late to acclimate him to them for this season.
