This afternoon we got the first snow here. It was snowing and raining all afternoon. I'v been hunting a little road (walking). Its only five miles from home and some of the first huntable crown land from town.
I have been parking the truck and walking about a 1/4 mile to some area where deer cross to get from beding areas to agricultral land.
Tonight I walked in to find a set of deer tracks about 15 minutes old walking right through my stand area. I watched over it untill dusk , then walked back to my truck. I did see one deer, but couldn't tell if it was a buck or doe before it dissapeared.
When I walked back to the truck I found several sets of deer tracks over my own.
Within site ofd my truck there were tacks all over the road! Deer had been milling about on the trail not 50 yards from my truck parked in full view!
