Hunting on Sundays

You can view Ontario regs online....

I still prefer the regulations we have in BC. Hunting is open for *something* about 11 months of the year...All big game species of North America (except antelope) can be hunted in a general open season, and most species have a season that is at least 2 months long, minimum.:)

Thanks Gate,

I saw them online but the online version and the printed regs are different (advertisements and all the other things printed in them.
I like looking at the different ways the provinces publish their regs which is why I was looking for a copy.

No sweat. I'll pm Fogducker if I need a copy.

here, in most of ontario, there is something open 12 months of the year. crows, ground hogs(gophers or close), fox ,coyotes, black birds. if you really want to hunt something, you'll always find something open , somewhere.wolf and coyotes are restricted to tags in a few areas, but the rest of ont. is wide open.

I live on a farm and it's discouraging having to chase guys off the property who don't ask permission despite the property being very clearly marked. This has been getting worse every year.

Sunday has been the only day I can enjoy a day with the family during our favorite time of year. Now there will only be one way to ensure that I can continue with the fall outings on the farm. This year the property will be posted red (no hunting).

Hippie? Far from it and if I do make you sick, then excellent. I hope you have the dry heaves for days. :)

:onCrack: bulls**t

Hunting is open 7/7 in QC, and no one gets hurts

Hippies like you make me sick

People living in rural areas often appreciate the one day of the week without hunting. It's decided at the township level in Ontario and where I live the township voted down Sunday hunting. It's not a big deal as far as I'm concerned.

We got 3 sundays a year. They should have just left it the way it was as far as im concerned. They made the anti's happy and basically gave us 3 days just to shut us up about it.

Problem solved. Now you can enjoy your property 365 days of the year. :)

Here in NB, the best foliage & weather for tripping in the woods is in Oct. The majority of deer season is in Nov. I don't usually see too many folk in the woods on Sundays in Nov.
