I have a 1.5 year old hunt trained black lab. He has his Junior Hunter certificate (for those who know what that means or who care). We are looking for hunting opportunities for early season goose hunts in/around the ottawa area.
I would bring the dog, his blind, and my camo. I wasn't planning to bring my gun, I'm just there to handle the dog.... you would have to have a place to hunt, and be safe/responsible. All I want in return is one or two geese, and the chance for my dog to enjoy as many hunts as we can fit in.
I found that many people seem to hunt geese without a dog! If you don't have a dog to hunt with, you are missing out! It is truly amazing to see the dog go, and you don't even have to get out of your blind anymore, let the dog go get all the geese!
So, if you're interested in trying a goose hunt with a dog, please let me know. I have a couple of groups that I hunt with already, but looking for a few more so that I can get out there as much as possible.

Clarification based on some of the responses I've gotten: I'm not a newbie.. I'm an experienced hunter with a couple of groups that I hunt with already. The point of this post is to find one or two more groups to hunt with so that my young dog can get out in the feild more, and to share the joy of hunting waterfowl with a trained dog!
