Hey dudes!

I thought it would be cool to do a survey of what rifle brands, calibers, and scope brands and types we all used on our hunting rigs, so I threw a survey together in Google Docs.
That way, we can figure out neat stuff, like what are the most popular calibres in each province? Do lots of people have expensive rifles with crappy scopes? That sorta stuff. Nothing beats hard data!

I'm not using it for nefarious purposes! ;) The results are viewable by anyone, and I don't run a business or anything: I'm just a gun enthusiast newbie.
The only vaguely personal question is optional! (where the rifles are hunted with)

I checked the CGN ToS, and this doesn't seem to be covered. :)
Obviously I'm happy to take this down if I've misinterpreted it.

Anyways, here's the survey! Enjoy :D

I'd take your survey but you forgot the second most popular hunting caliber in the world...270 Win. FFS.

I submitted the two rifles I commonly use for big-game hunting, my Remington 30-06 and SKS. If you wanted to get into shotguns, that's another story.

Your wish is my command! Summary and exact results are now in the first post as well. :)

Sako and Savage, .270 Winchester, Bushnell and Leupold, and Ontario are in the lead!

I don't know enough about shotguns to make a form for them, but I'm happy to show you how I made this one if you're interested :)

Ha Ha. Seven Sako's in Ontario are mine. Interesting to see the results change as more people enter.

I figure we can just leave this survey open indefinitely, no need to close it at any point :)

I'm also gonna cross-post it at HuntingBC, I think. Feel free to post it elsewhere!

Wow, really makes me think that I should invest more into actual hunting rifles instead of fun/hunting/tactical rigs.

My three are:

-Breda Garand 30-06 with irons, the way it was meant to be shot
-Norc M-14 in Troy chassis, just for cool factor and reliability
- Savage 111 30-06 topped with Burris Fullfield II
